Holly - Cambridge
BA in Modern & Medieval Languages - University of Cambridge
I am a Cambridge undergraduate studying Modern and Medieval languages focusing on Spanish, French and Portuguese. Currently, I am on my Year Abroad in Portugal studying Economics. At school, I scored 11 A* at GCSE and 3 A* at A level, and at the end of my first year at Cambridge, I was awarded an academic scholarship.
I began teaching 6 years ago and I have experience with all ages up to and including university applicants who I mentored successfully through the Oxbridge application process. As a current undergraduate, I am familiar with the university application process having done it recently myself. In my teaching, I will focus on developing individual thinking and going off the syllabus to go the extra mile and impress. I will guide students towards critical thinking and performing under pressure in an interview setting so that the real thing is more manageable and hopefully less stressful.
In my free time, I like to get involved in drama and play netball. In Cambridge, I picked up a couple of new activities such as boxing. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Cambridge studying a subject that I love, and I hope that I can help equally enthusiastic and motivated students to do the same.
