Francesca - Oxford
BA English Language and Literature- University of Oxford | Mphil Criminological Research - University of Cambridge
Hello! My name is Fran and I am a recent graduate from Hertford College, Oxford where I studied English Literature. I am currently doing an MPhil in Criminological Research at the University of Cambridge.
Prior to University, I achieved three A*s at A-Level in English Literature, Philosophy and Ethics, and Fine Art. I have been tutoring in various roles for around 6 years now, and have a wealth of experience in mentoring and educational support. I am available to tutor English or Social Science (with particular expertise in criminology) and anything to do with the more general admissions process (eg. Interview prep, ELAT exam).
In my spare time, I enjoy anything creative (writing, drawing, painting - I'm even a recent crotchet convert). I think having a creative mindset has been really important throughout my degree(s) and I would love to help others harness their capabilities and enjoy exploring their subjects and achieving their goals. Coming from a state school background, I did not have much support when I was applying to Oxbridge, and I would have benefitted massively from a mentor. I hope I can help others get where they want to be, and enjoy the process too!
If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk.
