Emma - Cambridge
BA Medical Science - University of Cambridge
I'm an enthusiastic fourth-year medical student at Cambridge with plenty of experience in helping applicants apply to Oxbridge. I have been tutoring students for university applications throughout the past four years, both privately and publicly. In 2018 I spent four weeks in an academic summer school, designed to help people with their university applications, specifically Medicine. Since then I have been mentoring three students through their application journeys and am currently providing interview practice for two of them.
Through my experience, I have made multiple documents with detailed advice for applying to medical school. This includes a comprehensive interview, personal statements, and wider reading guides that I provide my students with to complement their learning.
I achieved a First-Class in all three preclinical years at University so have a detailed understanding of how to foster the characteristics required for an Oxbridge medical student. In addition, I was the president of a charity society called CATTS Cambridge and was the Entertainment Officer for the Cambridge Medical Society.
If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
