Ben - Cambridge
BA in Land Economy - University of Cambridge
Hi! I’m Ben. I am a First Class Land Economy (Economics, Law and Environment) Graduate from the University of Cambridge and I have 4 years of tutoring experience. In Sixth Form, I achieved AAAA in A-level Economics, Geography, Maths and in my EPQ focused on the UK Housing Crisis. During my degree, I took papers on Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Development, Law and Public Policy. Upon graduating from Fitzwilliam College Cambridge I was also awarded the 1912 Senior Scholarship, Thatcher Prize for my academic results and Lalit Kumar Singhania Prize for my dissertation on UK Housing Policy.
I currently work as a Director of ESG Courses at an environmental start-up where I teach students on environmental topics such as environmental finance and green real estate. These courses are directly related to Land Economy and Economics syllabuses enabling me to give tutees a perspective on complex topics to bring into interviews.
My 4 years of tutoring experience spans GCSE, A-level and Oxbridge admissions. I have tutored students on the full breadth of the Oxbridge application process including course exploration, interview practice, admissions assessments, and personal statement assistance. I also provide pre-course prep to make sure students who get their place hit the ground running when they start the course. This includes pre-course reading lists, supervision preparation and essay writing help.
