Alexander - Oxford
BA in History - University of Oxford | MA in International Relations and Security with Russian - Sciences Po Paris and Moscow State Institute of International Relations
Hello, I’m Alexander. I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2016 with a first-class degree in History. I went on to win a competitive Leverhulme Trust Studentship for a dual master's degree in International Relations and Security with Russian, which I studied for at Sciences Po, Paris and Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), graduating from the programme in 2019 with my thesis scoring top of my cohort.
I worked as an English Tutor during my time living in Moscow, tutoring a wide variety of individuals, ranging from company executives to children age 8-12. I have also been a Residential Advisor at Hertford College, Oxford, with responsibility for the welfare of visiting international students.
I currently hold an analytical role within the Cyber, Space and Future Conflict programme at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). In my spare time, I am a school governor.
