I am a medical researcher/scientist from Brisbane, Australia. I moved to Oxford in 2017 to read for a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil or PhD) in Primary Health Care/Pharmacoepidemiology/Evidence-Based Medicine. Prior to this, I completed a BSc in Biomedical Science, an Honours Thesis in Pharmacology and worked as a research assistant and high school tutor in Australia.

I tutored high school Mathematics and Science for six years where I mentored various families and students in their endeavours for higher education. I currently facilitate on MSc courses and for undergraduate medical students on evidence-based medicine in Oxford. I have experience in applying for research grants, writing/peer-reviewing academic manuscripts for journals, abstract submissions for conferences and can provide advice on research methodology, essays and theses for Bachelors and Masters students.

As an international student, I have personal experience with applying to Oxford from outside the UK. I am also funded by three scholarships and thus have extensive experience in scholarship applications from both international and internal bodies.

If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
