What you need to focus on

• TSA: All candidates applying to read PPL are required to take the Thinking Skills Assessment. For further information see our TSA article.

• MLAT: Those applying for either Philosophy and Linguistics or Psychology and Linguistics must sit the Modern Languages Admissions Test.

• Interview: You will have at least two interviews conducted by two different colleges. The interviews will focus on whether you can cope with the demands of the course, evaluate evidence, consider things from a different perspective and use empirical evidence to support your argument.

Key Dates

• 15th October: UCAS deadline for personal statement.

• 15th October: Registration deadline for TSA and MLAT.

• 31st October: TSA and MLAT takes place.

• Beginning of December: Interviews take place.
