Interview preparation
Interview preparation is one of the least covered application areas in school. Oxbridge and other top UK universities conduct interviews with all of their applicants, so it’s vital that students practice, and are fully prepared for questions they might face.
Our Mentors are able to conduct mock interviews with students to help them understand the process, and give guidance on what interviewers are looking for from applicants.
Entrance Test Training
Application entrance exams are very different from GCSEs and A Levels. They are set by universities to test your abilities, and make sure that you are ready for the standards they expect.
Working with our Mentors, we are able to help you prepare for these by going through mock tests, and making you aware of what to look out for when taking them.

One of my classmates recommended Doxa to me when I was applying for Cambridge. In Doxa, I had several sessions with a chemistry mentor (Rebecca) and a physics mentor (Jacob). Even though I’m not preparing for a school entrance I used this to increase my skills for the future. The interviewers’ questions challenged me, to begin with, I was a little irritated but that’s because I was having to think through my answers. The main thing I took away from this is to stay with my convictions. I was being gently pushed to see if I could back up my arguments. When I saw the report afterwards I understood why I was being challenged. It’s really changed how I would conduct myself in an interview situation now. I think everyone should have access to this.
